Ta Ta September-
Holy Moly September came and went so fast! I guess it is a shorter month so we can cut it some slack. September was an Ok month this year. We are adjusting to living back in Logan. Being back at school. Not having much free time anymore. Its been pretty good for the most part but I defiantly think Nate and I are both counting down till we graduate and leave in May. This summer with Nate’s awesome internship we got a taste of what it would be like to be in the “real world” post graduation. And we really LOVED it. No homework. No classes. Just going to work and coming home to a free night! Hello LOVE It! Nate really loved it. Because he was in his dream job! We can’t wait to be real “adults”.

Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago we lost our family dog Brinkley. Brink lived a really long happy life and we will always cherish the 14 years we spent with him. I honestly don’t have a memory without him. We got Brinkley when I was 8 years old on vacation in Newport Beach. He was a spontaneous purchase. We were at a mall in Newport and there was a pet store. I begged to go in and my parents just said we could only look. Well we obviously found a little cutie and I cried and cried till we could take him home with us. He was the Greatest/Naughtiest/Sweetest dog you could ever ask for. Even in his last days he was pretty worn out and had seen better days but he still would always smile when our family was all together. My family is completely heartbroken knowing he is gone. Some of you may not understand this heartache… But that means you are not dog people. Dogs aren’t just pets they become 100% apart of the family. We will forever miss you Brinkley! Love you.

On a more positive note its beginning to look a lot like fall. My favorite. Pumpkin candles, cookies, and anything else involving pumpkin anyone? I just hope it stays like this and we can skip the whole winter thing…

Happy Monday!

Lazy Sunday-
Don’t you love Sunday’s? I know I do! I am always looking forwarded to a good lazy Sunday were all I have to do is spend time with the people I love. Being a lazy daisy and relaxing is the best.
Nate and I are pretty busy people so we love days were we can relax and spend time together. Today was one of those really good Sundays. We went to church. We watched a lot of Grey’s Anatomy. Walked Henry around the temple. Made Cookies. And were lazy.
The worst part about Sunday’s is they ALWAYS end with a Monday…
I love a good Henry cuddle session.
Church bathroom Selfie with my new skirt!
Henry loves to gather pine cones in his mouth on our walks…But when its time to go back inside the house he doesn’t ever want to give them up…And I have picked up one to many shredded pine cones off the carpet. haha
I love warm Chocolate Chip Cookies!
Hope your Sunday was great…And that your Monday won’t be so bad either!

Happy First –
Our first anniversary was so wonderful! It was a day well spent! Nate had to work and I didn’t…BUT Nate surprised me with flowers and a pedicure and the entire day together! YAY he didn’t have to work!!! He loves to surprise me… and I am difficult to keep secrets from. We enjoyed a relaxing morning browsing throw model homes of town homes (we love house shopping) pedicures, lunch. Then we went down to Salt Lake City and did a sealing session at the Salt Lake Temple in honor of our anniversary! It was wonderful to be in the same place and remember the promises we made on our wedding day! I love the temple. We are starting that as a tradition to always go to the temple on our anniversary and do sealings. And we also are going to try and do it always at the SLC temple on August 22 to keep tradition. We also are going to take a photo of Nate and I in front of the temple every year and make an anniversary book filled with a picture of us on every anniversary! So we have 2 now…one from the wedding day and one from our 1st anniversary! After the temple we enjoyed a delicious meal at Market Street Grill. It was awesome and the perfect day!
^^^ I made a replica wedding cake for us to eat…given we ate our real one last October ^^^
Thank You Nate for the wonderful day…and for loving me unconditionally! I seriously love you so much!!!
Happy Anniversary!

Happy 1 Year Anniversary-
It’s been 365 days since the best day of my life. And honestly… it’s been pretty wonderful every day sense then! I think about our wedding day everyday but come on what newly wife doesn’t?! The entire day was amazing. The sealing, the dress, the flowers, the reception, the romance it was all perfect! There are times where I actually literally miss “the wedding” I miss all the planning all the excitement building and building but nothing is as exciting as the actual Marriage! Nate and I were together for a year and 8 months (dating and being engaged) before we said “I do”. Even though a month after dating Nate and I both knew we wanted to get married…we did choose and want to date for a year. And that time dating and then being engaged and then finally being married was the recipe for a wonderful marriage! We both think the “adjustment” to being married was effortless! And we credit that to our longer courtship! People ask us if our first year was hard?…and we really didn’t think it was hard at all. It really has been pure bliss and happiness! Don’t get me wrong we for sure aren’t perfect and we have trials and arguments just like everyone else… but Nate is my person and I am his and TOGETHER we can do anything! Forever.
It has been the greatest day of my life ever sense I met Nate. But being MARRIED to Nate … that is beyond greatness that words can’t even describe. 1 year down and an eternity to go!!!! Somehow I fall more and more in LOVE with him everyday! I love being married! It’s the greatest thing in the world!
I am so thankful I am sealed for time and all eternity to Nate. I love you so much honey! Happy One Year! And I am looking forward to many more…
It has been a wonderful year!

Goodbye July-
Well July is officially over! It went by really fast! I can’t believe summer is coming to an end. I am excited for fall because who doesn’t love fall weather and a great sweater… But it seems that summer has come and gone this year. We have really loved living in Draper with my family while Nate completes his internship in Sandy/Salt Lake City. It has been so wonderful to be able to spend so much time with them. We have so much fun in Logan with our friends but it is far enough away from family that it makes it hard to drive down all the time to come to family events and what not. We are excited to make our final move to Logan for our last year. We look forward to the day to graduate and live in Salt Lake and have our grown up jobs! ha!
This past week has been jammed pack with events. One of my best friends got sealed for time and all eternity to her soul mate on July 29th. I was a bridesmaid so Nate and I attended all the events leading up to the wedding. It was so wonderful to be with them as they were sealed and began their lives together. It was a wonderful day! The whole day I missed my wedding day! It really is the best day ever! So Happy for you Ashley and Ryan! We LOVE you guys!
My other Best Friend Emilie and I did a Stylized Bridal shoot yesterday and it was so FUN! I really have so much passion about weddings and creating the perfect day for people. I am an inspiring Wedding Planner & Designer. Let’s be honest with ourselves. It is my dream job! I love weddings. Obsessed with them! So I am starting a little business and I am hoping to join a company that is already established so I can join their team and be a planner and designer for them! Can’t wait!
(Emilie and I at the shoot! It went AMAZING! ***Ignore our nasty hair…haha)
Also, I am still obsessed with my Husband and my Henry. Life is really challenging. But I know I always have a support system to come home to at the end of the day!
I know Henry is just a dog. But he listens to every conversation I have with him. He is a little person in a puppy’s body. I know it. I will forever love my little buddy! He is a girls best friend.
As for this guy…Love isn’t even a good enough word to describe my feelings for him. I thank my father in heaven EVERYDAY for Nate. How did I get so lucky? I can’t believe that in 22 days we will be celebrating our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! WHAT? I swear our wedding was last week. What a year it has been! I need to make us a duplicate cake to eat on our Anniversary… because we may have already eaten ours in October… Oops.
Love you Forever and Always Jaramillo. (Har-a-me-oh) {in case you were wondering on how to say our last name}
Thanks for Reading! And CHEERS to August!
A Wonderful Night of “Wicked”-
This past Wednesday Nate and I went to Wicked to celebrate my belated Birthday! Nate’s gift to me were Wicked tickets! This was my third time seeing the wonderful musical and it was Nate’s first time! I always love watching people experience something I love for the first time! This musical really lives up to everything you hear about it. From the costumes to the music and to the story line it is all breathe taking! I am a huge Wicked fan among many! Thank You for the great night sweetheart!
If you can get a chance go see this show playing at the Capital Theatre! SO GOOD!
July on my Telephone-
I can’t believe July is practically over. At this time last year I was weeks away from our wedding day. And now it is weird that we have almost been married for a whole year! WHAT?! Can’t believe how fast it has gone. Months just literally fly by. Summer is almost over (which is so sad) School is about to start once more (which is even SADER! ha i’m so negative). But I am excited for whats ahead!
July has been a great month thus far. Here are some random snaps from my telephone over the past couple weeks!
Can’t wait for the rest of July!

Fruit Pizza-

Happy Sunday Everyone! I hope your Sunday is going as well as mine! Today I woke up bright and early to make a fruit pizza for my cousin Brady’s mission farewell (which was awesome by the way. He is going to be a wonderful missionary!). I have never made a fruit pizza before and I heard they were a lot of work to make, but I was determined to do it! It was actually really fun making it and I think it turned out AWESOME! I was very proud because I am not the best cook… practice makes perfect!
Nate’s aunt Janalyn is the creator of this recipe so I can not take credit for it’s greatness at all! But it is 100% delicious I can tell you that!
Fruit Pizza Recipe-
Crust- Sugar cookie dough baked until golden. You can use home aid or store bought cookie dough.
Filling- 1 2/3 cup of vanilla chocolate chips (10 0z package), 1/4 cup of whipping cream, 1 package of cream cheese (softened). (melt chips then add whipping cream then cream cheese)
Fruit Topping- 1/4 cup of sugar, 1 Tablespoon of cornstarch, 1/2 cup of pineapple juice, 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice, & assorted fruit.
Combine sugar and cornstarch in a small saucepan. Stir in juices. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick. Let cool. Meanwhile slice and arrange fruit onto filling then pour juice mix over fruit. Enjoy!
This is a delicious and refreshing summer treat that is a hit at any Summer BBQ! And it is so fun to arrange the fruit to make the pizza look gorgeous! Today I just stuck to berries and kiwi but next time I want to add more color and variety!
Enjoy!
Manti Pageant-
This past weekend Nate and I went with his family to the Manti Miracle Pageant in Manti, Utah. This was my second time going to this pageant and Nate first! For those who haven’t been you are probably wondering what in the world is this. Well it is a play put on in front of the gorgeous Manti LDS Temple about how the church came about and the plan of salvation. This little play is such a wonderful thing to watch because it has tremendous spectacle that really helps you understand and visualize our purpose here on earth.
I would just like to mention two different scenarios within the play that really hit home with me (and sections I think are BRILLIANT because my theatre self is coming out). The first is the section of Christ visiting the people after his resurrection. All the people are looking up at him in admiration and he is dressed all in white and is glowing from light. It is such a powerful visual. Just thinking of Christ coming again with all of his glory and peace to the world gives me chills. The second is at the very end of the play when they have a couple being reunited in heaven after death. The husband is walking up a hill to meet his wife who had died before him. They are both dressed in white and rejoicing. When the embrace the temple lights light up behind them. This is a true testament of eternal marriage and family.Watching this was extremely powerful and made me very emotional. It is very comforting to know that I WILL be with Nate and our future kids FOREVER. The ride never ends. Both of these scenes were so powerful.
The costume and lighting designer have ever right to deserve recognition for both of these moments being so powerful and truthful by the way. Spectacle is a powerful thing sometimes.
We really had a great time and felt the spirit very strong during this presentation on the truthfulness of the gospel. I am so thankful to be a member of this church. It’s defiantly true!!!

^^^ see that lemonade? BEST THING EVER!!! ^^^
